Lifelong Learning

Teach your students to learn for life.  Tell them the importance of lifetime learning and explain how to achieve it as well as a love for learning.  This is very important and cannot be stressed enough.  Talk about people you know who value and continue to learn.  Serve as a good role model for your students and share your continued learning experiences with them.

Ask students what their career goals are so they can start thinking about them early and so they can relate lessons to those goals.

Explain to students how reading and learning help one to become a lifelong learner.  Teach them also to reflect on what they have learned.
