When learning through online instruction students sometimes can feel more comfortable. The setting is non-threatening for them. Online teachers should always be positive in how they handle instruction and they can involve students in the learning by asking open-ended questions. Since research from Indiana University dictates that online instruction offers more advancement and opportunities for students in regards to higher-order thinking skills that are so important in learning, students should consider taking online classes.
The growth of online instruction is expected to exceed its capacity as technology becomes more advanced over time. The abilities of online teachers also is expected to grow, and this I feel is inevitable. As teachers gain more experience in online instruction they will know more how to handle such situations and what to expect. As technology advances it will offer more opportunities in the online classroom.
